The Station Clock
THE STATION CLOCK
i’ve called this piece the station clock because it reminds me of the elegant clocks found in Victorian railway stations
Each clock is handcrafted using English bridle leather for the outer surround and English shoulder leather for the clock face. The hour markers are individually hand sewn before the face is mounted onto a 2 mm plywood backing, providing stability for the silent non-ticking quartz clock movement.
The side buckles are cast by an English foundry from solid brass, reflecting the quality and attention to detail throughout the piece. The bridle leather surround is fitted last and carefully hand stitched into place while the elegant walnut clock hands provide the perfect finishing touch.
Every element has been carefully chosen to create a timeless heirloom quality clock that combines traditional British materials with meticulous heritage craftsmanship
