Equestrian Themed Station Clock

THE STATION CLOCK WITH AN EQUESTRIAN TWIST

I called this piece the station clock because it reminds me of the elegant clocks found in Victorian railway stations. This one though does have any equestrian twist to it. Each one incorporates a small brushed brass Snaffle bit under the hands of the clock.

Each clock is handcrafted using English bridle leather for the outer surround and English shoulder leather for the clock face. The hour markers are Individually hand stitched before the face is mounted on a 2mm plywood backing providing stability for the non-ticking quartz movement.

The side buckles are cast as an English foundry from solid brass, reflecting the quality and attention to detail throughout the piece. The bridle leather surround is fitted last and carefully hand stitched into place, while elegant walnut hands provide the perfect finishing touch.

Every element has been chosen to create a timeless heirloom quality clock that both combines traditional materials and meticulous heritage craftsmanship.
