Made with undyed leather called Russet, the pattern ( unique to each clock ) is carved and stamped on while the leather is wet, allowed to dry then the red/brown dye is blended in, dry, then the final sealant is applied.
a1mm plywood disc is added to the rear so that the Quartz (non ticking, silent) movement has a good solid base.
I use wooden walnut hands to continue with the natural feel of this piece
AA battery required but not supplied
