Hand carved ‘Dandelion” pot

Made using English Vegetable russet shoulder.

This means the leather is unfinished when it arrives with me.

It gets dampened, carved, dried, stained, dried then a finishing sealant is put on.

they’re then attached to a small oblong stained pine base (made by a local retired gent) with escutcheon pins

I have my specs in one on the coffee table, but you can use for remotes, make up brushes, jam jar with flowers in, faux plant,  pen pots or my neighbour has her tea lights stored in one….

Each one varies slightly. They’re all as unique as the day it was made on but will be a dark rich chocolate brown.
